I originally started going to the gym because I wanted to improve my basketball performance. Before this, I had never worked with a coach and it was also my first time training in a gym regularly.

When I first walked into the gym, I carried more than just the weight of my body — I carried the weight of uncertainty and trepidation. Living with psoriasis arthritis means I live with constant daily joint pain that was wearing me down both physically and emotionally. I doubted my body was able to commit to a fitness journey, but I was desperate and with nothing to lose I contacted Jett. I was exhausted by the constant pain and yearned for a better quality of life. In my early 50s I decided it was time to take back control of my health but needed help to do that.
From our very first session, Jett didn’t just focus on my fitness goals, He took the time to learn about my condition, adapt exercises to suit my needs, and create a nutritional plan that has not only changed the way I look but also how I feel. His knowledge is grounded in personal experience and application.
Thanks to Jett I’m not only stronger, fitter and leaner, but I’ve also been able to manage my pain through better nutritional choices, strengthening of joints, increasing of metabolism and greater mobility through the building of lean muscle. By applying everything Jett has taught me, I’ve learned that my condition doesn’t have to define me.
